Our Step-by-Step Process

Second Space is an online marketplace for pre-loved baby products. Here's how you can join our community and start trading.

1. Seller Lists an Item

A seller uploads an item for sale that is visible to near-by buyers. Second Space encourages trade within 5-10km to minimise transportation costs.

2. Choose Collection or Delivery

The buyer can choose to pick up the item themselves from the seller or pay an additional amount for it to be delivered by our dedicated partner courier.

3. Buyer Clicks 'Buy'

The buyer clicks “Buy” to begin the secure transaction process.

4. Secure Online Payment

The Buyer makes a payment online and is sent a reference code for the order via the Second Space chat.

5. Payment Held Securely

The Buyer’s money is deposited safely into Second Space’s account while the order is completed.

6. Confirm the Exchange

When the buyer receives the item, they mark it as “Item Received”. The Seller also needs to mark the “Item Sent” to confirm.

7. Seller Gets Paid

Second Space releases the money to the Seller's Second Space wallet.
